The newest color in the Amigo series, ‘Amigo Red’, brings a vibrant, crested red to the market. This variety boasts a unique flower structure, excellent garden performance and heat tolerance. An intermediate-size, strap-leaved variety, ‘Peppermint’ features dark rose-red laminar areas and broad white veins, making it truly unique among strap varieties. It is useful in 4-inch pots and up but should be de-eyed for smaller pot sizes. ‘Peppermint’ also makes an interesting hanging basket. Mature leaves may burn in full sun in the South.
