  • ‘Metallic Mist’ Honored by Begonia Society

    July 7, 2008

    Terra Nova Nurseries’ begonia ‘Metallic Mist’ earned a blue ribbon from the American Begonia Society at its national convention in Houston. Scoring 96 out of 100 points, ‘Metallic Mist’ ranked first in the field of “New Introduction from a Commercial Grower.”

    A hybrid of two Chinese begonia species, the plant has heavily silvered, maple-like leaves. ‘Metallic Mist’ is hardy in USDA Zones 7b-9.
